This track represented to me what the experience of the frantic, hamster wheel pace of life for most people was like before Covid. It may have started out as fun and energetic, but for many, it turned into a relentless and distorted way of living and being. Not necessarily healthy or sustainable but habitual. I used a period of silence within the track to express what I experienced as a period of time during the first shut down when this frantic pace of life was interrupted (not including, unfortunately, the first responders and essential workers). A collective breathe of silence then happens. As the chime in this track announces, life starts to slowly breathe and begin again. How do you want your re-boot to progress? Is there anything you want to clean out and leave behind?
