I was struggling with conflicting and painful emotions when I recorded this track. The listener may hear some conflicting themes and places where there are rhythmic tears. These tears are there to musically convey an unstable moment, a moment to lose our footing. Burning Slowly is a moody, dark track that for me, allowed me to burn through and release some things that needed my attention. I hope the listener will benefit as well as I did in creating this turbulent gem.
